Dan Para Appointed as CEO of Concert Group Logistics
Buchanan, MI - July 1, 2010 - Express-1 Expedited Solutions, Inc recently appointed Dan Para as the CEO of their freight forwarding company Concert Group Logistics (CGL), a Downers Grove, Illinois-based leader in transportation logistics. Para first opened the doors as the CEO for Concert Group Logistics, LLC in late 2001, and held that role until being acquired by Express-1 Expedited Solutions, Inc in January 2008, at which time his involvement transitioned to a board member of XPO. Para’s transportation logistics career spans two companies dating back to the late 1970’s. Notably, both were recognized on the INC 500®. Para’s return as CGL’s CEO follows the resignation of President, Gerry Post, who desired to focus more on operations as the new Independent Owner of CGL Minneapolis.
